Anybody wonder what the point of anime characters "transforming" is? Essentially it's just an elaborate way of changing clothes...

What would it be like if someone next to you just randomly burst into a shining ball of light, spun around a few times and shouted their name and all of a sudden had a new wardrobe?

Why is it than characters that perform special moves are so awesome when they say the name of the technique?
